Gifts Men Want

Ladies, you’ve come to the right place! Time is up to choose your man’s ideal gift. The time for the gift giving is coming, and you are getting more and more nervous about the big day and the gift you will have to have. There was a time when you bought a necktie at the last minute out of desperation. But now, you will know what that perfect gift is!

A gift with a hefty price tag but no real use won’t appeal to more practical men. You’ll need to come up with something useful that will fill a need.That doesn’t mean that some deodorant, shampoo or shaving gel is the best way to go.The answer is to think about the person you are buying for.

Does he have any hobbies? If your man loves cigars, wine, or coins, there are gifts of cigars, humidors, wine club subscriptions, or mint condition coins; if it’s music he loves, try a set of headphones or speakers to enhance his music enjoyment.

Is he a fan of a particular sport?Buying a tee time, as well as a set of golfing gloves and some balls and tees are sure to please a golf lover. Or, a tennis racket or a subscription to a sports channel might do the trick.

What type of work does he do? He might be in need of an elegant new briefcase or desk set, or the latest computer gadget to round out his collection of them. You know he likes items like these because he already has some.

Watch the way he dresses for clues to a good gift. For men living in cold weather, warm clothes such as a ski jacket or a pair of leather boots or Oxfords would make perfect gifts. Hot weather gifts can include a hot weather outfit, such as a Hawaiian shirt made of silk, a pair of versatile khaki shorts, and comfortable deck shoes. An elegant watch is a great gift no matter where your man lives.

If he’s like most men, he probably loves his car. Men with a practical bent will love a care package of car care items to keep it clean all over. Some car lovers would like to have a new sound system, auto detailing work done, or to have their windows tinted.

If you man isn’t at all practical, there are still plenty of ways to make him happy. If your man is a romantic, look for gifts that reflect his love of the cultural and artistic. For the adventure lover, travel and outdoor activities are a good fit.

If your man is romantic and loves reading, playing the guitar, or listening to music, there are plenty of gifts perfect for him. If your man loves these things, you might think about a leather set of his favorite books, a full set of his favorite artist’s music, or even an instrument that he’s been thinking about trying. If you want a gift that reflects the tastes of a music or theater buff, try a pair of tickets for the both of you!

If your adventure lover just can’t get enough adventure, try new equipment for his fishing trips, a brand new camera, new binoculars, the right footwear for his many adventures, or even a plane ticket to an exotic locale. For some adventurers a local treasure hunt is perfect, for others a day spent doing nothing on the beach does the trick, and for others antique firearms or a GPS system are perfect gifts. However, many men prefer the type of gift that doesn't come in a box.

Men are notoriously resistant to change. If a man who love sports, that will never change. For the practical man, he will always seek the practical. The romantic man will always seek his dreams. Adventurous men are always looking for the next adventure. If you've been able to make your man smile before, try the same thing again. Finding the best gift for your man will show who your love for him- and that will be the best gift he could ask for.
